Ever since I started learning to write, it also awakens my interest in drawing. This interest continues as I go long my studies and when it was time to pursue a course in college, I took up Fine Arts. I never applied nor did get a job not related to Arts. I worked as an Illustrator, Layout Artist- fulltime in Vibal Publishing House , a partimer in Phoenix Publication, Layout Artist/Photographer in Construction Management Magazine, Lay out Artist in Atlas Publication and as Designer of stickers and stationaries for Royal Porcelain. But while working with these companies, I also joined several Art Groups in Manila and founded two Art Groups in Bulacan, “Bahaghari ng Malolos” and “Pinta at Sining ng Kababaihan” to fulfill my passion in Painting. And when I left the workplace, I became fulltime in painting and did several exhibits with my groups. I also conducted Art Workshops and Art Tutorials regularly in Schools, Private Persons and Home for the Aged, street children and rape victims. For me, this is a God given talent that it is my obligation to maximize and share it to others, as well as a means of livelihood because thru my art, we were able to make ends meet and augment our family income and sent all my children to school and finish courses in college. For me, Art is a very much visible expression to give thanks to the wonderful creations of God. Show these to the people, preserve them in painting, always for appreciation.
