Studied Fine Arts at the University of Santo Tomas Majored in Painting.
He learned the basic of Anatomy under the watchful eye of Prof. Bonifacio Cristobal.
He chose a style where he can express comfortably and freely the “Figurative Expressionism” inspired by Max Beckman, Francis Bacon, Thomas Hart Benton and our local artist Onib Olmedo.
Danny was a former Scientific Illustrator of the National Museum of the Philippines and attended Training and
Orientation on Archeological Methods. He was utilized by Archeology Diving team to do illustrations of artifacts from
Griffin wreck in Basilan. These illustrations were published in French Magazine “Dossiers Histoire Et Archeologie”.
He was an Art Coordinator of World Relief Corporation in Philippine Refugees Processing Center in Morong, Bataan,
Philippines where he supervises and conduct Art Workshops for English teachers.
After five years from Refugees Center, he went to Saudi Arabia for a two years contract as a Graphic Designer and
promotional materials of Batook Confectionary in Dammam, KSA utilizing then the latest program for Desktop Publishing such as Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Freehand, Pagemaker and Microsoft Office.
In his hometown in Guiguinto, Bulacan, Philippines he was commissioned to conceptualize, layout and render mural painting ” Trompe ‘l oie ” style of San Ildefonso parish church interior.
He painted the four Evangelist in the hallway of Saint James Parish church of Plaridel, Bulacan
And at the altar arc of Puerto Galeras Parish Church in Mindoro. Most of his works were done in oil on canvas,
acquired by private collectors here and abroad.
